Laura "Barker" Parker is a certified, professional dog trainer through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA), a Fear Free Certified® Professional, a member of the Pet Professional Guild, and an AKC Approved Evaluator.

Laura launched her training career as a certified dog trainer and mentor through Petco. During her time there, she deeply committed herself to expanding her knowledge of dog behavior, neuroscience, and ethology. Through dedicated self-study and continuing education resources provided by various accredited animal behavior organizations, she ensures her methods stay at the forefront of modern behavior science.

Laura has spent most of her life owning and working with herding breeds. While she truly loves all dogs, her favorite breed is the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Her passion for animals extends beyond canines—she also owns pet birds and is an experienced reptile keeper, as well as an active member of USARK (United States Association of Reptile Keepers).

With nearly 15+ years of training and behavior experience, Laura remains deeply dedicated to continuing her education in canine behavior and welfare. Her ultimate goal is to ensure that every dog she works with feels safe, builds confidence, and truly enjoys the training process.
