My name is Laura "Barker" Parker, a certified, professional dog trainer through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA), a Fear Free Certified® Professional, a member of the Pet Professional Guild, and an AKC Approved Evaluator.

I launched my training career as a certified dog trainer and dog training mentor through Petco. During my time there, I deeply committed myself to expanding my knowledge of dog behavior, neuroscience, and ethology. Through dedicated self-study and continuing education resources provided by various accredited animal behavior organizations, I ensure my methods stay at the forefront of modern behavior science.

I have spent most of my life owning and working with herding breeds. While I truly loves ALL dogs, my favorite breed is the Pembroke Welsh Corgi.  My passion for animals extends beyond canines—I also own pet birds and I'm an experienced reptile keeper, as well as an active member of USARK (United States Association of Reptile Keepers).

With nearly 15+ years of training and behavior experience, I remain deeply dedicated to continuing my education in canine behavior and welfare. My ultimate goal is to ensure that every dog I work with feels safe, builds confidence, and truly enjoys the training process.
